02What data we collect and why

We only collect the data we need, depending on how you use the website:

Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company, location and the description of your request, including any additional information you choose to fill in. We use it to answer your request and, if applicable, prepare a proposal.
Client Area: your account data (name, email, credentials and trusted devices), as well as the orders, projects and documents linked to your account. We use it to give you access to your account and follow your orders.
Technical data: your IP address is used for one hour only, to limit repeated submissions of the form (spam protection). Servers may log accesses for security and to fix errors.

Legal basis

Processing is based, as the case may be, on your consent (contact form), pre-contractual steps at your request, performance of the contract with registered clients and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a), (b) and (f)).

Who we share data with

We do not sell or hand over your data. It may be processed by providers who support us, only for these purposes and under contract: website hosting and email delivery.

The map (Google) and the video (Vimeo) are only loaded if you allow it in the cookie window; in that case those services receive your IP address and browsing data, according to their own policies.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access, protected password storage and, in the Client Area, two-step verification. No system is fully invulnerable, so ask us to delete whatever no longer needs to be with us.

07Your rights

You can request access, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to processing and portability, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting what was done before), via geral@lancaencanto.pt. We reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (cnpd.pt).
